Summer Olympics 2020 is going to end with the closing ceremony tonight at Tokyo Olympics Stadium ( 8:00PM JST) IOC, LOCOC, Athletes, Coaches, Supporting staff every one happy and looking for new ways for upcoming for Winter Olympics 2022 which will held in Beijing from 4th February to 20th February 2022. The Canadian Olympics Committee Secretary general and CEO David Shoemaker linked Canadian Participation with Diplomatic relationships and on the decision of the federal government which means nothing confirmed yet for the Athletes who are preparing themselves to represent Canada in Beijing Winter Olympics 2022.
In response to a question related to participation Shoemaker who is passionate for his sports management and promotions skills confirmed that the participation in Beijing is directly related to diplomatic developments in the present circumstances of diplomatic ties between both the countries.
He added that the Federal Government and Diplomate to China will guide us about over participations.
Canadian Athletes are on their historical edge of performance in Medals tally of Tokyo Olympics 2020, Won 24 medals with 7 Gold, 6 silver and 11 Bronze while overall on the 11th position in the countries list which is topping USA with 112 (39 Gold,40 Silver and 33 Bronze), China on 2nd position with 87 ( 39 Gold, 31 Silver, 18 Bronze), Tokyo Olympics Host on 3rd position with 58 medals ( 27 Gold, 14 Silver, 17 Bronze).
