Karachi Test! Australia took the advantage of winning the toss with 251/3 on day one

Australia Cricket team captain Pat Cummins won the toss and decided to bat first, the openers of Australian cricket team backed captain’s with 82 runs partnership when Faheem Ashraf trapped David Warner in the hands of Muhammad Rizwan behind the wicket on last ball of the 18th over of the inning. Soon after two overs the Test Number one batsman Labuschagne got run out on the direct throw of Sajid Khan, Australia was 91/2, and it was time for Pakistan to contain but they failed. The heat of the match generated when Pakistani’s pacers and spinners from both the ends putted pressure on Usman Khawaja but Queen’s Land captain was in very good touch, an he completed his first century on homeland for Australia against Pakistan.

Usman at day end media talk expressed his joy about on ground vergence with Shaheen and others that “I was doing nothing an just enjoying the moment with Pakistani bowlers”.

At the end of the day, Usman Khawaja remained not out on 127 runs. Australia aims to set a substantial total in the first innings to put Pakistan under pressure when they start their own innings.

Pakistan test vice captain Muhammad Rizwan was confident in Bowling unit to get out Australia as soon as possible on second day. Muhammad Rizwan mentioned that the wicket is expected to offer turn, but when asked if a turning track could trouble Pakistan in the fourth innings, he responded by saying that in cricket, they are not worried about any situation.

“The last moment wicket of Steve smith is good sign for us and hopefully wicket will now convert into turning track and this is test cricket, we unfortunately lost the toss but you know this is the beauty of test cricket and we are not afraid of to bat in fourth inning”.
