Usman Khawaja Hoped to show batting skills at front of his birth town fans for Australia

Pakistani born Usman Khawaja who is key player of Australia as replacing the master class Ricky Ponting according to cricket pundit and his records, and he is fine touch in 2022 after scoring two centuries against England (137 and 1010 in Ashes Series) in January 2022.

When I asked him about his passion to play at front of locals of his hometown he replied in an energetic way.

“Playing against Pakistan in Pakistan and specially at my birthplace Pindi/Islamabad is pleasure to me and I am excited to perform well at front of cricket loving fans who are incredibly special to me and always support me. Any century which helps the Australia in winning matter for me”. 

“My heart always beat for Australia even I am born in Pakistan, but I never think about to represent Pakistan in international cricket, I am lucky to get the chance to represent Australia in international Cricket and yes my form is good against Ashes, and I want to continue this against Pakistan as well and for it me and my fellows need to work hard, and we will do”. 

“Pakistan is good team and have number of world class batsmen like Azhar Ali, Babar Azam, Rizwan, and the bowlers are doing in depth like the Australians so we must respect Pakistan team”.
