Australian Cricket board announced 16 men ODI squad for historical tour to Pakistan first time after 1998. Aaron Finch will lead the squad and he has the bunch of all rounders in the team including Mitchell Marsh. Australian team will play Three ODI, Three test matches and and one T20 International.

The National Selection Panel (NSP) has announced a 16-player squad for the upcoming Qantas tour of Pakistan, comprising three One-Day Internationals and a T20 International.

Australia is set to tour Pakistan for the first time since 1998, featuring three Test matches, three One-Day Internationals, and one T20 International.

The Test squad and staff are scheduled to depart for Pakistan later this week, while the white-ball players and staff will join them mid-tour for the One-Day Internationals and T20 International.

George Bailey, NSP Chair, said: “We have picked a talented and versatile squad with a number of challenges to juggle, including the tour structure of predominantly 50 over games, management of several multi format players in the medium to long term; and our need to build experience and depth in preparation for two short form World Cups within the next 18 months.”

“We’re confident the squad can both compete successfully on this tour and continue our progress towards those crucial tournaments.”
