Pakistan Cricket Team training cancelled due to rain in Rawalpindi

Pakistan Cricket Team ready to face blackcaps on home soil after 18 years but the first training session which was scheduled to held today at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium cancelled due to rain. Newly appointed coach Saqlain Mushtaq delivered discipline and Covid-19 Protocol lecture to players before start of the practice session. All the Team players and staff took part in the lecture except Mohammad Nawaz who was tested positive for Covid-19 and currently in quarantine as per the PCB Covid-19 Protocols. The left-arm spinner had tested positive during the second round of testing, which were administered upon arrival in Islamabad on Wednesday.

The New Zealand side will arrive in Islamabad on Saturday for three ODIs and five T20Is, which will be played from 17 September to 3 October.
