A former soccer great and former president of UEFA has been arrested in paris by a justice official in relation to the awarding of the 2022 World Cup Qatar.

Publication news confirmation by the mediapart, Michel Platini was taken into custody on Tuesday as part of the investigation on anti corruption in awarding the World Cup 2022 to Qatar.
