Shane Watson the man who is playing in Pakistan after fourteen years and did not played all previous three editions of PSL for his team matches in Pakistan is made the Qualifier for his team to take straight into the Final of 4th Edition. Watson who batted well at first and hit sixes and fours in 71 runs brilliant innings also bowled last over of the match in which Zalmi need 21 runs to beat Gladiators but Watson used his experience with the ball as well against Power Hitter Polard and clean bowled him after expending six towards leg.
Watson declared man of the match and awarded 4500 US dollars is happy with his performance.
“Gladiators have lot of winners in the team but i enjoyed a lot here at Karachi with best environment, facilities and crowed to play cricket” added in his comments after man of the match award.
Earlier Zalmi captain Darren Sammy who was hit by pacer Hasnain on his between the legs and fell down on the pitch played an absolute fine inning with his partner karren polard of 82 runs partnership but did not enough to save the match.
Now Islamabad United will face the home team Karachi Kings in first eliminator tomorrow while the winner of this match will face Zalmi in the 2nd Eliminator about which Zalmi captain already told that he will face Gladiators again in the final. he has no worries who ever come in the second Eliminator.
