Shahid Afridi bashed Selection committee on giving chances to young players

Ex Captain of Pakistan Cricket team Shahid Afridi who is famous for his controversial statements like his boom boom cricket shots, this time afridi follow his present captain in PSL4 Shoeb Malik of Multan Sultans on awarding reen Caps to young and inexperienced Cricketers.

“Its not good to award Green Caps to young players wihtout maturity and grooming, this cap is worth a lot i dont know why they are making its so easy for the new players, there is need of grooming them in international cricket by playing with A teams on foreign tours instead of awarding green caps” Afridi said in an answer to a question about young players.

Shahid Afridi who is the most caped player from Pakistan in ODI’s ( 398 matches and scored 8064 runs with 6 hundreds and 39 fifties) showed concerned and criticized the selection committee headed by Inzimam Ul Haq ( the legend of Pakistan Cricket History topped in ODI Runs 11739 runs in 378 ODI matches ) who is awarding Green Caps to the youngsters.

“I don’t know why you are making Green Cap so easy for the young players, there is need to groom them through international tours with Junior and A teams instead of awarding Green Cap without experience” Boom Boom bashed.

Shahid Afridi who is in his 40th year of age and want to play more cricket in PSL2020 also showed concerns of present captain Pakistan Cricekt team Sarfraz Ahmad exclusion from the home series against Australia.

“Its not good to give rest to sarfraz ahmad and other seniors in very important series against Austrlaia before world Cup 2019, yes its good if management and captains all are on one page but its absolutely wrong if Sarfraz consent not taken” Afridi said.

Shahid Afridi who is not impressive in all three editions of PSL want to play next PSl with different team as he played all previous three editions with three different teams i.e Peshawar Zalmi in first Edition, Karachi Kings in 2nd Edition and Multan Sultanz in thrid Edition but his teams in his presence not failed to get champions.
